How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the tank area.
- Clean float mechanism: Remove the tank and clean the float and its chamber to remove slime or mineral deposits.
- Check float buoyancy: Ensure the float is not waterlogged or cracked. Replace the float if it does not float properly.
- Inspect actuator tab: Verify that the plastic tab on the tank that lifts the float or presses the switch is intact. Replace the water tank if broken.
- Test float switch: Use a multimeter to test the float switch while moving the float. Replace if it does not change state.
