Tilt / Position Sensor Error
Dehumidifier displays F2 and will not start, often after being moved

Possible Causes
Unit not level, Faulty tilt sensor, Loose tilt sensor wiring, Sensor knocked out of position during transport
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before tilting or moving the unit.
- Level the appliance: Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface. Use a spirit level if available. Adjust feet if the model has adjustable legs.
- Wait after moving: If the unit was recently transported or tilted, leave it upright and unplugged for at least 2 hours to allow compressor oil to settle.
- Locate tilt sensor: Inside, look for a small cylindrical or rectangular sensor module mounted on the chassis, often near the base. Ensure it is firmly attached and in the correct orientation.
- Check wiring: Verify that the tilt sensor harness is intact and properly connected to the main PCB.
- Replace tilt sensor: If F2 persists and the unit is level, replace the tilt / anti-tip sensor with the correct AEG part.
