Possible Causes

Faulty Wi‑Fi module, Loose Wi‑Fi board connector, Firmware incompatibility, Damaged antenna cable

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control area.

  • Power cycle: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then reconnect and check if F4 clears.
  • Check Wi‑Fi module: Access the control compartment and locate the small Wi‑Fi / connectivity module. Ensure it is firmly seated in its socket and that any antenna wire is intact.
  • Reset network settings: Use the control panel to reset network settings (refer to user manual). Reconfigure the connection via the AEG app.
  • Firmware update: If available, update the firmware through the app or service procedure.
  • Replace Wi‑Fi module: If F4 persists, replace the Wi‑Fi module board. If still unresolved, the main PCB may be at fault.
