Dehumidifier shows P1 and stops, water tank may be full
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Full water tank, Misreading from water level sensor, Blocked drain path causing tank to fill unexpectedly, Faulty float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before handling water.
- Empty tank: Remove and empty the water tank. Clean it to remove any slime or debris.
- Check float and switch: Verify that the float moves freely and that the float switch operates correctly (see E7 entry).
- Inspect continuous drain: If using a hose, ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked and that it slopes downward continuously to the drain.
- Reset: Reinstall the tank securely and power the unit. If P1 persists with an empty tank and working float, replace the water level float switch.
