AIRCARE
Insufficient Capacity or Reduced Evaporation Efficiency
Humidifier runs continuously but room humidity never reaches the set point.

Possible Causes
Wick filter heavily mineralized reducing output, Unit undersized for room volume, Excessive air leaks or drafts in room, Fan speed too low for conditions
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before inspecting the wick or internal components.
- Step 1 – Verify room size: Compare your room’s square footage to the AIRCARE model’s rated coverage. If the room is larger, the unit may never reach set humidity.
- Step 2 – Replace wick filter: Even if it looks intact, a mineral-loaded wick can drastically reduce output. Install a new genuine AIRCARE wick.
- Step 3 – Increase fan speed: Set the fan to High to maximize evaporation, especially in very dry or drafty homes.
- Step 4 – Reduce drafts: Close doors and windows and limit exhaust fans that pull in dry air from outside.
- Step 5 – Check for air bypass: Ensure the wick housing seals well to the cabinet so air is forced through the wick, not around it.
If performance remains poor with a new wick and proper setup, consider adding a second unit or upgrading to a higher-capacity AIRCARE model.
