Dehumidifier display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently

Safety: Unplug before opening the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Dry the panel: If the panel was exposed to water, allow it to dry completely. Do not use a hair dryer on high heat.
• 2. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control fascia and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
• 3. Inspect for corrosion: Clean light corrosion on contacts with isopropyl alcohol.
• 4. Replace UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the user interface (display) board or keypad assembly.
