Humidifier function (on combo units) shows F0 and stops adding moisture; fan may still run

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before removing the water tank.

Steps to address F0:

• 1. Remove and empty the tank: Take out the humidifier water tank and empty any remaining water. Rinse to remove debris.
• 2. Inspect the float: Inside the tank or base, locate the plastic float that rises with water level. Ensure it moves freely up and down and is not jammed by scale or dirt.
• 3. Clean the float chamber: Use a soft brush and mild vinegar solution to remove mineral deposits. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
• 4. Check the level sensor: Many Ariston units use a reed switch in the base. Inspect for corrosion or broken wires. Ensure the magnet in the float is intact.
• 5. Reassemble and test: Refit the tank correctly, ensuring it seats fully. Power on and check if F0 clears.
• 6. If F0 persists: The water level sensor/reed switch may be defective and require replacement. Access usually involves removing the base cover; take care not to damage seals.
