Possible Causes
Blown mains fuse on PCB, Faulty power cord, Defective on/off switch, Failed main control PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before any inspection. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.
Steps:
- 1. Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm it has power.
- 2. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the entire cord set.
- 3. Try a different outlet: Avoid extension leads and surge strips during testing.
- 4. Access PCB fuse: Remove the rear or side panel to access the main PCB. Locate the small glass or ceramic fuse near the power input. Check for continuity; replace with the same rating if blown.
- 5. Inspect PCB: Look for burnt tracks or components in the power supply area. If present, the board must be replaced.
- 6. Check power switch: If your Beko model has a mechanical rocker switch, test it for continuity when ON. Replace if faulty.
