Possible Causes
Blocked internal drain channel, Misaligned water tank, Cracked tank, Improper continuous drain hose installation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up any spilled water to avoid slipping.
Steps:
- 1. Inspect water tank: Remove the tank and check for cracks or overfilling. Ensure the tank is not warped and seats properly.
- 2. Clean drain channel: Look inside the tank cavity for the small drain outlet from the evaporator tray. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to clear any blockage.
- 3. Check continuous drain hose: If using a hose, ensure it is firmly attached, slopes downward, and is not blocked or kinked. Avoid routing the hose upward.
- 4. Inspect internal tray: Remove the front or rear cover to view the condensate tray under the evaporator. Check for cracks or misalignment.
- 5. Replace damaged parts: Replace a cracked water tank or condensate tray with genuine Beko parts.
