Possible Causes
Disconnected or open‑circuit temperature or humidity sensor, Broken sensor harness, Corroded sensor connector, Faulty sensor input on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before opening any covers.
Steps:
- 1. Note when F0 appears: If it appears immediately at power‑on, suspect a major sensor disconnection. If it appears after some operation, a specific sensor may be intermittent.
- 2. Access sensors: Remove front cover and locate the ambient NTC, evaporator NTC, defrost sensor (if separate), and humidity sensor module.
- 3. Check all sensor connectors: One by one, unplug and replug each sensor connector on the PCB. Ensure each harness is fully seated and not reversed.
- 4. Inspect wiring: Look for any sensor cable that has been pinched by the cabinet or damaged by rubbing against metal.
- 5. Test continuity: If you have a multimeter, check continuity from each sensor plug back to the PCB connector to identify any open wires.
- 6. Replace the faulty sensor or harness: Once the open circuit is located, replace the damaged sensor or wiring harness with Beko‑approved parts.
- 7. If all sensors and wiring test good: The main PCB sensor input circuitry may be defective and require board replacement.
