Possible Causes
Damaged communication cable, Loose connectors, Faulty display PCB, Faulty main PCB communication driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before working on the control area.
Steps:
- 1. Check cable routing: Ensure the cable between the main PCB and display board is not pinched or cut by the cabinet.
- 2. Reseat both ends: Unplug the communication harness from both boards and reconnect firmly. Make sure the locking tabs engage.
- 3. Inspect for corrosion: Look for green or white deposits on connector pins, indicating moisture damage. Clean lightly if minor; replace harness if severe.
- 4. Try a new harness: If available, replace the communication cable with a new Beko harness to rule out wiring issues.
- 5. Swap boards (advanced): If you have access to known‑good boards, test with a replacement display PCB first, then main PCB. In normal home repair, replacing the display PCB is the first step; if F2 remains, the main PCB likely needs replacement.
