LO
Beko
Low Humidity or Low Temperature Indication
Dehumidifier displays LO and does not start dehumidifying
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Room humidity already below setpoint, Room temperature too low for operation, Faulty humidity sensor reading too low
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal work is needed for basic checks.
Steps:
- 1. Verify room humidity: Use a separate hygrometer to check actual humidity. If it is already low (e.g., below 35–40%), the unit may correctly show LO and not run.
- 2. Adjust setpoint: Increase the target humidity (e.g., set to 50–55%) and see if the compressor starts.
- 3. Check room temperature: If the room is very cold, move the unit to a warmer area.
- 4. If LO appears despite high humidity: The humidity sensor may be misreading. Inspect and, if necessary, replace the humidity sensor module as described in the E3 fault procedure.
