Possible Causes

Tank not seated correctly, Tank full float stuck, Continuous drain hose incorrectly installed, Faulty tank presence switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Always unplug before reaching inside the tank compartment.

Steps:

  • 1. Remove and reinstall tank: Pull out the water tank completely, then slide it back in firmly until it clicks or sits flush. Ensure no objects prevent full insertion.
  • 2. Check float: Inspect the float inside the tank for free movement. Clean any slime or mineral deposits that may cause sticking.
  • 3. Verify continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it is connected to the correct drain outlet and not causing backflow into the tank area. The hose should slope downward with no kinks.
  • 4. Inspect tank switch: Look for a small micro‑switch or sensor lever in the tank cavity. Press it gently to confirm it moves and clicks. Clean around it if obstructed.
  • 5. Replace tank switch if faulty: If the switch does not change state when pressed (checked with a multimeter), replace the Beko tank presence switch assembly.
