Safety: Unplug before accessing the sensor.

Steps:

• Relocate unit: Move the humidifier so that the sensor is not directly in the mist path or against a cold wall.
• Ventilate: Open a door or window slightly and compare readings with a separate hygrometer.
• Clean sensor area: Gently brush dust from the sensor vents. Do not spray liquids.
• Replace sensor: If readings remain obviously wrong, replace the humidity sensor module as per the E2/E7 procedure.
