How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning. Avoid inhaling mist from contaminated water.
Deep cleaning:
- Disassemble: Remove the water tank, tank cap, and any removable parts such as filters and nozzles.
- Wash tank and parts: Clean with warm water and mild dish soap. Use a soft brush to scrub corners and seams.
- Disinfect: Fill the tank with a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water. Let sit for 30 minutes, then shake and empty. Rinse thoroughly until the vinegar smell is gone.
- Clean base: Wipe the base water chamber with a cloth soaked in vinegar-water solution. Do not immerse the base in water.
- Replace filters: Install a new Beurer filter cartridge if your model uses one.
- Maintenance routine: Empty and dry the tank daily when in use, and perform a full cleaning at least once a week.
