How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
Cleaning procedure:
- Empty and rinse: Pour out any remaining water from the base and tank.
- Descale transducer and chamber: Fill the base water chamber with a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and warm water until the transducer is submerged. Let soak for 30–45 minutes.
- Gently clean: Use a soft cloth or cotton swab to wipe away loosened scale from the transducer and chamber walls. Do not use metal tools or abrasive pads.
- Rinse thoroughly: Rinse the chamber several times with clean water to remove all vinegar residue.
- Replace filters: If your Beurer model uses an anti-limescale or water softening filter cartridge, replace it according to the manual.
- Use better water: To prevent recurrence, use demineralized or distilled water, especially in hard water areas.
