How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before removing covers.
Steps:
- Check environment: Extremely high condensation or water ingress into the control panel can disturb the sensor. Let the unit dry in a warm, dry room for several hours and retry.
- Locate the RH sensor: On Beurer dehumidifiers, the humidity sensor is often behind the front grill or integrated into the control panel area.
- Clean the sensor area: Use a dry, soft brush to remove dust. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the sensor.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the housing and trace the sensor harness to the PCB. Ensure the connector is fully seated and free of corrosion.
- Replace sensor: If the sensor housing is cracked, corroded, or readings are clearly wrong (e.g., always 20% or 90% RH), replace with the correct Beurer humidity sensor module.
If E7 remains after sensor replacement, the main control board may require professional diagnosis.
