Beurer humidifier shows 'Hi' and stops humidifying even though the room feels dry.

Possible Causes
Humidity set too low or at maximum, Faulty humidity sensor reading too high, Sensor placement affected by direct mist stream
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal work is needed for basic checks; keep the unit plugged in only while adjusting settings.
Steps:
- Check set humidity: Increase the target humidity on the control panel. If the display shows 'Hi' because the setpoint is reached, this is normal behavior.
- Relocate the unit: Move the humidifier so that the humidity sensor (usually near the control panel or air outlet) is not directly in the mist path, which can cause falsely high readings.
- Ventilate slightly: In very small rooms, humidity can spike near the unit. Open a door slightly and retest.
- If 'Hi' appears constantly: The humidity sensor may be faulty. Follow the humidity sensor fault procedure (see E2/E7) and replace the sensor if necessary.
