Steps:

• Adjust humidity setpoint: Set the desired humidity at least 5–10% below current room humidity to reduce rapid cycling.
• Relocate unit: Avoid placing the dehumidifier directly under supply vents or near doors where humidity changes rapidly.
• Check humidity sensor: If the display humidity jumps erratically, inspect and replace the humidity sensor module.
• Control board: Persistent short cycling with a stable sensor may indicate a control board issue; replacement of the main PCB may be required.
