Humidifier leaks water from the base or around the tank

Safety: Unplug the humidifier and remove it from any electrical devices or surfaces that can be damaged by water.

• Inspect tank: Remove the tank and check for visible cracks or damage. Fill it over a sink and look for drips.
• Check cap and gasket: Examine the tank cap and rubber gasket. Replace the gasket if it is cracked, flattened, or missing.
• Do not overfill: Fill only to the indicated maximum level. Overfilling can cause leaks when the tank is inverted.
• Seat tank properly: Reinstall the tank, ensuring it sits flat and engages any alignment guides or valves correctly.
• Replace tank: If the tank is cracked or warped, replace it with a new Bionaire water tank designed for your model.
