Control buttons do not respond or respond intermittently

Safety: Unplug before opening the control panel.

Steps:

• Drying: If the panel was recently cleaned with liquid, allow it to dry fully for 24 hours.
• Check lock function: Some models have a child lock. Verify it is not engaged (usually by holding a specific button for 3 seconds).
• Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the bezel and ensure the cable from the keypad to the main board is firmly seated.
• Replace control panel: If specific buttons never work or require excessive force, replace the control panel PCB / keypad assembly.
