Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main control board, Faulty power cord, Tripped household circuit breaker, Failed main control board power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening any panels. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.
Steps:
- Check outlet: Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm power is present. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the power cord set with the correct rating.
- Access main board: Remove the rear or side cover to expose the main control board. Locate the small glass or ceramic fuse on the board.
- Test/replace fuse: With a multimeter, check continuity of the fuse. If blown, replace with the same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
- Board replacement: If the fuse is good but there is still no power, the board’s power supply may have failed. Replace the main control board.
