Internal Water Leak / Drainage Misalignment
Dehumidifier leaks water onto the floor instead of into the bucket

Possible Causes
Clogged internal drain channel, Misaligned water bucket, Cracked bucket or drain pan, Continuous drain hose connection leaking
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and dry any spilled water before opening panels.
Steps:
- Check bucket seating: Ensure the bucket is fully inserted and not tilted. A misaligned bucket can cause water to miss the opening.
- Inspect bucket and pan: Remove the bucket and inspect for cracks. Look inside the unit at the plastic drain pan under the evaporator for damage.
- Clean drain channel: Locate the small drain hole or channel leading from the pan to the bucket or hose. Use a pipe cleaner or small brush to clear slime and debris.
- Continuous drain setup: If using a hose, ensure it is firmly attached to the drain outlet, slopes downward continuously, and is not kinked. Tighten any hose clamp.
- Replace damaged parts: Replace a cracked water bucket or drain pan as needed.
