Humidifier leaks water from the base onto the table or floor

Safety: Unplug the humidifier and dry the area.

Steps:

• Inspect tank: Remove the tank, dry it, and inspect for cracks or pinholes, especially around seams.
• Check cap and gasket: Ensure the tank cap is tightened properly and the rubber gasket is seated and not torn. Replace the tank cap gasket if damaged.
• Do not overfill: Fill only to the indicated maximum line.
• Base inspection: If water collects in the base even with a good tank, inspect the base reservoir for cracks. Replace the water tank or base assembly as needed.
