Humidifier produces very little mist compared to normal

Steps:

• Use distilled water: Hard water causes scale. Switch to distilled or demineralized water.
• Clean transducer and tank: Descale with white vinegar as described above.
• Check mist outlet: Ensure the mist nozzle and outlet are not blocked by dust or scale. Clean with a soft brush.
• Verify fan operation: Listen for the internal fan. If weak or not running, the humidifier fan motor may need replacement.
