Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal components.

Steps:

Check for obstructions: Ensure nothing is blocking the fan blades.
Spin test: Try spinning the fan by hand (with power off). If it is stiff or seized, the motor bearings are likely failed.
Inspect wiring: Check the fan motor wires and connector at the main PCB for damage or looseness.
Capacitor check: Some fan motors use a run capacitor. Inspect for bulging or leakage. Replace with the same capacitance and voltage rating if defective.
Replace fan motor: If the motor is open-circuit or seized, replace the dehumidifier fan motor assembly. Transfer the fan blade to the new motor and secure it properly.
