Possible Causes
Water tank empty or not fully seated, Stuck float in low position, Faulty water level sensor, Blocked tank valve preventing water from entering base
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug before removing the tank.
Steps:
- Refill the tank: Remove the tank, open the cap, and fill with clean, preferably demineralized water. Tighten the cap securely.
- Check tank valve: Inspect the spring-loaded valve in the tank cap. Press it gently to ensure it moves freely and is not stuck closed.
- Reinstall the tank: Place the tank back on the base, ensuring it is aligned and fully seated. You should see air bubbles rising as water flows into the base.
- Inspect float and sensor: If 'FILL' remains, remove the tank and check the float in the base for free movement. Clean any scale or debris.
- Test again: After cleaning and refilling, restart the unit. If the error persists with a full tank, the water level sensor or float switch may be defective and require replacement.
