Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Failed external power adapter (for low-voltage models), Faulty power switch, Loose power cord connection at PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening any covers. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.

Steps:

  • Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another device. Inspect the power cord for cuts or kinks. Ensure any detachable adapter is firmly plugged in.
  • External adapter models: For BONECO models using a low-voltage adapter, test the adapter output with a multimeter. If there is no output, replace the original BONECO power adapter.
  • Internal fuse: On mains-powered models, remove the housing to access the main PCB. Look for a small glass or ceramic fuse near the power input. If visibly blown (broken filament or blackened), replace with the same type and rating.
  • Check power switch and wiring: Verify that the power switch is mechanically sound and that its wires are firmly connected to the PCB.
  • If fuse blows again immediately: There is likely a shorted component (e.g., varistor, rectifier, or transformer) on the main board. Do not keep replacing fuses—have the main control board inspected and replaced by a professional.
