Steps:
- Switch to low-mineral water: Use distilled, demineralized, or softened water in the tank.
- Install or replace demineralization cartridge: Many BONECO ultrasonic models use a demineralization cartridge in the tank. Replace it according to the manual (typically every 2–3 months).
- Reduce output: Lower the mist output setting to match room size and ventilation.
- Clean surfaces and unit: Wipe white dust from surfaces and clean the humidifier base and transducer to remove mineral buildup.
