Humidifier water tank is difficult to remove or install, and unit may not run

Safety: Turn off and unplug before forcing any parts.

Steps:

• Inspect tank and base: Look for broken plastic guides, bent tabs, or foreign objects in the tank recess.
• Clean seating area: Remove debris and wipe the tank recess and contact surfaces.
• Check tank shape: Ensure the tank is not warped from heat or impact. A warped tank may not engage the water valve or switches correctly.
• Align carefully: Insert the tank straight down, aligning any arrows or guides. Do not force; if resistance is high, recheck alignment.
• Replace damaged tank: If the tank is cracked or warped, replace it with an original BONECO water tank for your model.
