Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power cord, Failed main control PCB, Defective power switch or keypad

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, seek professional help.

Steps:

  • 1. Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers.
  • 2. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks in the Camry power cord. Replace if damaged.
  • 3. Access main PCB: Remove the rear or side panel to reach the main control board. Locate the onboard fuse (often a glass or ceramic fuse).
  • 4. Test fuse: Use a multimeter to check continuity. If open, replace with the same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a short that must be diagnosed.
  • 5. Check power switch/keypad: On models with a mechanical power switch, test for continuity when switched on. For touch keypads, inspect the keypad PCB and ribbon cable.
  • 6. Replace main PCB: If power is reaching the board but there is no response, replace the Camry main control PCB.

Warning: Never bypass fuses or safety devices. Persistent fuse blowing indicates a serious fault.
