Excessive Noise / Vibration
Dehumidifier is very noisy during operation (rattling, buzzing, or grinding)

Possible Causes
Loose fan blade or mounting screws, Worn fan motor bearings, Compressor mounting grommets deteriorated, Cabinet panels vibrating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Camry unit before tightening or adjusting any components.
Steps:
- 1. Check placement: Ensure the unit is on a level, solid surface. Avoid hollow floors or unstable stands.
- 2. Inspect fan assembly: Remove the grille and check that the fan blade is firmly attached to the motor shaft. Tighten the set screw if present.
- 3. Tighten screws: Check all visible cabinet and frame screws. Tighten any that are loose.
- 4. Inspect motor bearings: If the noise is a grinding or squealing from the fan area, the fan motor bearings may be worn. Replace the fan motor if lubrication does not help (most are sealed and non-serviceable).
- 5. Compressor mounts: Inspect the rubber compressor mounting grommets. If cracked or missing, replace with new compressor mounting grommets to reduce vibration.
Tip: Adding thin foam pads under the unit’s feet can further reduce transmitted vibration.
