Possible Causes
Humidity set too close to room level, Faulty humidity sensor, Poor air circulation around unit, Control PCB hysteresis issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before opening the control panel if inspection is needed.
Steps:
- 1. Adjust settings: Set the target humidity at least 5–10% lower than current room humidity to reduce cycling.
- 2. Improve placement: Move the unit away from walls and corners to ensure good air mixing. Avoid placing it near other heat or moisture sources.
- 3. Check humidity sensor: Inspect and, if necessary, replace the humidity sensor module as described in E3 if readings appear inaccurate.
- 4. Control board: If short cycling persists with a known-good sensor, the main PCB may have a control logic fault and require replacement.
Note: Some cycling is normal as the unit maintains set humidity; focus on excessively rapid on/off behavior (every few minutes).
