Possible Causes
Aging LED/LCD display, Loose display PCB connector, Failing display driver IC, Low supply voltage from main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Camry unit before accessing the display panel.
Steps:
- 1. Check power: Ensure the outlet voltage is stable and within spec.
- 2. Inspect connectors: Remove the control panel and reseat the connector between the display PCB and main PCB.
- 3. Visual inspection: Look for corrosion or moisture damage on the display PCB.
- 4. Replace display PCB: If the display remains dim or incomplete, replace the display PCB assembly.
- 5. Main PCB check: If a new display does not fix the issue, the main PCB’s low-voltage supply may be faulty and require replacement.
Note: A failing display does not always affect basic operation, but it makes control and diagnostics difficult.
