Possible Causes
Humidity sensor reading out of range (saturated), Sensor exposed to liquid water, Failed humidity sensor module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the Camry humidifier before opening the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Dry the sensor: If the unit was exposed to steam or splashes, allow it to dry in a warm, dry room for several hours unplugged.
- 2. Inspect sensor location: Ensure the humidity sensor is not directly in the path of mist output. Relocate slightly if possible, following Camry guidelines.
- 3. Clean sensor vents: Gently clean dust from the sensor housing with a soft brush.
- 4. Replace sensor: If H1 persists, replace the Camry humidity sensor module as described in the E3 procedure.
Note: Avoid placing the humidifier directly under shelves or surfaces where condensation can drip onto the sensor.
