How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the control panel or sensor wiring.
Steps:
- 1. Inspect wiring: Remove the control panel cover and locate the humidity sensor harness. Check for loose or broken wires.
- 2. Reseat connector: Unplug and reconnect the sensor connector on the PCB.
- 3. Test sensor: If you have a multimeter and sensor specs, verify that the sensor output is not open-circuit. If it is, replace the sensor module.
- 4. Replace sensor: Install a new Camry humidity sensor module and test operation.
Note: If a new sensor does not clear H2, the main PCB may have a fault in the sensor input circuit.
