Possible Causes
Fan set to continuous mode, Stuck fan relay on main PCB, Shorted triac or transistor driving fan, Faulty humidity sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control compartment.
Steps:
- 1. Check settings: Some Camry models allow continuous fan operation. Verify the fan mode in the user settings.
- 2. Confirm humidity: Use an external hygrometer to ensure the room is actually at or below the setpoint.
- 3. Inspect main PCB: If the fan should stop but does not, inspect the main PCB for a stuck relay or burnt triac controlling the fan motor.
- 4. Replace PCB: If the fan drive component is faulty, replace the main control PCB.
- 5. Sensor check: If the unit never recognizes that humidity is reached, test and replace the humidity sensor module if needed.
Note: Continuous fan operation is not dangerous but may waste energy and cause unnecessary wear.
