Possible Causes
Warped or damaged fan blade, Debris stuck to fan, Loose fan motor mounts, Uneven floor surface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting the fan.
Steps:
- 1. Reposition unit: Move the dehumidifier away from walls and place it on a solid, level surface.
- 2. Inspect fan blade: Remove the cover and check for dirt or debris on the blade. Clean thoroughly. Replace the blade if it is cracked or visibly warped.
- 3. Check motor mounts: Ensure the fan motor mounting screws and rubber isolators are tight and intact.
- 4. Test operation: After reassembly, run the unit and observe vibration. If severe vibration persists, the motor shaft may be bent and the motor should be replaced.
