• 1. Adjust setpoint: Set the desired humidity at least 5–10% below current room humidity to reduce rapid cycling.
• 2. Relocate unit: Avoid placing the dehumidifier directly under supply vents or near localized moisture sources that can confuse the sensor.
• 3. Check humidity sensor: If the display jumps rapidly or is inaccurate, inspect and replace the humidity sensor.

Note: Some cycling is normal. If the compressor starts and stops every few minutes, a technician should check the control board and compressor.
