• Empty and rinse tank: Discard old water. Rinse the tank with warm water and mild detergent. For stubborn odors, soak with a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
• Clean base and water path: Wipe all accessible internal surfaces with a cloth dampened with vinegar solution, then with clean water.
• Replace wick filter: If fitted, replace the wick filter if it smells or shows mold.
• Dry between uses: Allow the unit to dry completely when not in use to reduce future growth.
