- Check safety switches: Ensure the water bucket is fully seated and any tilt or float switches are engaged. Listen for a click when inserting the bucket.
- Settings check: Confirm the humidity setpoint is below current room humidity and that the unit is not in standby or timer mode.
- Fan test: With covers removed, test the fan motor for free rotation and continuity. Replace if open or seized.
- Relay/board: If motors test good but never receive power, the main control board relays may be defective. Replace the main PCB.
