How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before working near moving parts.
- Spin test: Try spinning the fan blade by hand. If it is stiff or stuck, the motor may be seized.
- Electrical test: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the fan motor windings. An open circuit indicates failure.
- Capacitor check: If your model uses a separate fan capacitor, inspect it for bulging or leaks and replace if suspect.
- Replace motor: Install a new OEM Comfee fan motor and transfer the fan blade or blower wheel as needed.
