Shorted or open room temperature sensor, Damaged sensor harness, Poor contact at PCB connector, Failed sensor input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the cabinet.
- Reset: Unplug for 10 minutes and retry. If F1 returns, inspect the temperature sensor.
- Locate sensor: Find the room temperature sensor near the air inlet or attached to the evaporator frame.
- Inspect and test: Check for physical damage and test resistance with a multimeter. Compare to expected NTC values or to another identical sensor if present.
- Replace sensor: Install a new OEM Comfee room temperature sensor if readings are abnormal.
- Board check: If a new sensor does not clear F1, replace the main control board.
