How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before opening the housing.
- Confirm humidity: Use an external hygrometer. If humidity is extremely high, run the unit in continuous mode until levels drop.
- Dry and clean sensor: Allow the unit to sit unplugged in a drier area, then gently clean the humidity sensor module.
- Inspect wiring: Check for pinched or shorted sensor wires.
- Replace sensor: If HI remains regardless of room conditions, replace the humidity sensor module.
