How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn the unit off and unplug before removing the bucket.
- Empty bucket: Remove the water bucket, empty it completely, and reinstall it firmly until it clicks into place.
- Check float: Inspect the float mechanism inside the bucket. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the up (full) position.
- Bucket switch: Locate the bucket full switch inside the cabinet where the bucket slides in. Press it manually with a non-metallic tool; you should hear a click. If it feels loose or does not click, it may be faulty.
- Continuous drain: If using a drain hose, ensure the hose is not kinked and is routed downward to a drain. Some Comfee models show P2 when in continuous drain mode; consult the user manual.
- Replace switch: If the bucket and float are correct but P2 remains, replace the bucket full / float switch.
