Humidifier runs but does not produce visible mist or increase humidity.

Safety: Unplug the humidifier before cleaning. Do not run the unit without water.

• Check water level: Ensure the tank is full and properly seated on the base so the valve opens.
• Clean transducer: For ultrasonic Comfee humidifiers, gently clean the ultrasonic transducer disc with a cotton swab and white vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
• Inspect wick/filter: For evaporative models, check the wick filter. Replace if heavily discolored or hardened.
• Clean outlets: Remove mineral buildup from the mist outlet and nozzles.
