  • Replace the O‑ring if it is flattened, cracked, or missing.
• 3. Verify cap tightness:
  • Refill the tank, tighten the cap firmly, and invert over a sink to check for drips.
• 4. Level placement:
  • Place the humidifier on a flat, level surface.
  • Avoid moving or tilting the unit while full.
• 5. Replace tank if needed:
  • If the tank is cracked or continues to leak, replace it with a genuine Crane replacement tank for your model.
