  • Use distilled or demineralized water instead of hard tap water.
• 2. Install demineralization filter:
  • If your Crane model supports it, install a Crane demineralization cartridge in the tank according to the manual.
• 3. Adjust placement:
  • Move the humidifier away from electronics and polished furniture.
  • Point the mist outlet toward open space.
• 4. Clean surfaces:
