Crane humidifier power light blinks and unit will not start.

Safety first: Unplug the unit immediately. Do not continue to reset if there is a burning smell or visible smoke.

• 1. Dry the unit:
  • If the unit was recently overfilled or splashed, allow it to dry in a warm, dry room for 24 hours.
• 2. Inspect base interior:
  • Open the base and look for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, or burnt components.
• 3. Disconnect loads (advanced):
  • Temporarily disconnect the fan and transducer one at a time to see if the blinking stops when powered (only for experienced users with proper insulation and safety).
• 4. Replace failed component:
  • If isolating the fan or transducer clears the fault, replace the defective part.
  • If the fault persists with loads disconnected, replace the control PCB.
