Crane ultrasonic humidifier produces very weak mist even on the highest setting.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and remove the water tank before cleaning.

• 1. Deep clean the base:
  • Empty the base and soak with a 1:1 vinegar and water solution for 30 minutes.
  • Clean the transducer disc and surrounding area thoroughly.
• 2. Clean mist outlet:
  • Remove the mist lid or chimney.
  • Rinse and brush out any deposits or slime that could restrict airflow.
• 3. Check fan intake:
  • Inspect the underside air intake vents for dust buildup.
  • Vacuum or brush clean.
• 4. Verify water level:
  • Ensure the tank is full and the base reservoir is not running nearly dry during operation.
• 5. Evaluate transducer:
  • If mist remains weak after cleaning, the transducer may be aging and should be replaced.
